Training Classes 

Imortant Notice: (Whilst every care will be taken owners are responsible for their own dog. Only the owner will know whether their dog needs a muzzle if so please bring a suitable muzzle to every class. Our aim is to keep every dog and handler safe. We do not accept responsibility for injury or accident caused by or to individual dogs)

In order to maintain recognised professional training standards we operate the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme and a detailed syllabus for the course is presented to each handler on registration. 

Last year we trained 134 dogs across all breeds including Boxers, GSD, Cockapoos, Terriers, Whippet, Miniature Schnauzers, Border Collies, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Jack Russells, Setters, Labradors plus a large selection of mixed breeds and rescue dogs



THE GREAT OUTDOORS

Many owners of otherwise obedient dogs tell us they have trouble maintaining obedient behaviour on walks. Dogs that will come when called in the garden often go deaf when they meet other dogs.

 
Walking quietly to heel is often a problem in a more distracting outdoor environment. In response to many requests we run Outdoor classes where we can demonstrate how to transfer good obedience work into the real world.  

We limit the size of the class so everyone can have some personal tuition.

Classes run at Astbury Mere Country Park Congleton, 10:30 am to noon each Saturday morning.
